I am waiting for the guys to arrive to put in a new woodburning stove in my sunroom. It’s like a freezer in there totally unusable until at least mid afternoon in winter unless I put on the electric heater, which costs an arm and a leg. I am not going to hold my breath while waiting because I could quite easily die that way. I have been promised 10am and it’s now 9.40 so fingers crossed. At least it will keep the room warm when it’s finally in and as it’s the room where I do all my art work it should make it a lot more pleasant. I had to construct a plinth to put the new stove on so I managed to beg some slate tiles and MDF from my good friends Cathy and Alan, “thanks lads” Jon cut a piece of the MDF to the correct size and I cut the tiles with my trusty angle grinder and stuck them onto the board. It looks fine I hope it’s big enough. I’ll let you know….
